Arbitrage NYC Helmut Lang Capsule Collection

Ian Campbell's Arbitrage NYC is an online boutique for men’s (and occasionally women’s) rare and archival fashion pieces and here he shares his most recent curated capsule collection with the Grailed community. Below you will find the second collection which was just released on Arbitrage NYC and on Grailed featuring an Arbitrage favorite, Helmut Lang.
He tracked down some really special pieces, from pre-production samples like the AW03 leather bomber and AW04 moleskin trousers to pieces that are still brand new with tags like the AW03 bondage trousers. The collection is over 30 pieces deep and spans from very rare outerwear to some more entry level pieces like sweaters and cargos.
We asked Ian what the goal of the capsule was and he put it this way: "As a collector myself, these sorts of things are really fun to hunt for and it pains me to let them go, but I really want what I carry with Arbitrage NYC to be something you can’t find just anywhere, and Grailed is a perfect platform to reach likeminded collectors and people who truly appreciate the design and character behind the clothing."

How did you get into fashion: My friend Ben and I wanted to dress better in high school, so we took to eBay looking for Dior jeans. (thanks Kanye)
How would you describe your personal style: Fit is very important to me. I love sharp tailoring above all else, whether it be a wool coat by Burberry Prorsum or Dior Homme or a great pair of cropped trousers. I can't always be dressed up, so I usually dress everything down with a Rick Owens t-shirt or a pair of sneakers, usually Margiela Gats or my old beat up vans. Otherwise, the most important element of my style is a great scarf. Never underestimate what a massive pile of wool can do for a look.
Current favorite piece(s) in your closet: Its a toss up between my Dior Homme AW 2003 coat and my Jil Sander AW 2012 T-Rex sweater. The coat is just so beautifully made that I have to mention it, but the T-Rex sweater is probably my sentimental favorite.
How long have you been using Grailed: Since the beginning almost. I sort of fell off for a few months, but when i got back it was really amazing and I haven't looked back since.
Most memorable Grailed come up: It would have to be my Helmut Lang AW 2003 Faith Hope Charity long sleeve. That piece is really special, but I almost never wear it for fear of the print fading at the cleaners.
Favorite fashion designers: Christopher Bailey, Nicolas Ghesquiere, Helmut Lang and Rick Owens.
Ultimate grail: The Dolce & Gabbana Deconstructed Military Bomber from AW 2003.
