While Fear Of God’s fifth collection featured many sportswear pieces such as basketball shorts, jerseys and tapered sweatsuits in white, black, red and heather grey, the Sixth Collection carries very little over from its predecessor. Starring Jared Leto, the new lookbook blends Fear Of God’s perspectives on workwear, sportswear and multi-layering to inform its new offering.

This year we see the brand applying it’s signature oversized, nonchalant aesthetic to bomber jackets, vests and chore coats throughout the lookbook, set atop tapered leather pants, tearaway trackpants, denim and cargo pants. Standout pieces include a two-tone wool bomber with “SIXTH COLLECTION” printed on the back, an iridescent tracksuit and a dropcrotch zippered jumpsuit. As always, flannels, tees, denim shirts and hoodies are stacked and styled both on top of each other and underneath the aforementioned outerwear—a clear sign of Lorenzo’s styling hand. The new color palette is also a welcome change for this collection, with Lorenzo utilizing dark greys, mustard and enough shades of brown to make Carhartt fans do a double take.

The accompanying film gives us a first look at Fear Of God’s upcoming Nike collaboration, which will be a high-top, basketball-inspired silhouette. The shoe features a tan suede and leather upper with a unique corded lacing system not unlike adidas’ BYW model. The shoe sits atop a thick white midsole with a small black swoosh near the forefoot.
