"In Medias Res" is a column in which photographer Chris Fenimore links up with some of New York City's most interesting people to see what they're wearing throughout the week.

Name: Scott Mirtsopoulos

Age: 27

Occupation: Sneaker Buyer, DSMNY

Neighborhood: Crown Heights

Favorite shop in New York City: DSMNY, Nepenthes, No Man Walks Alone

Favorite restaurant in New York City: In BK, Prime Meats and in NYC, Peasant.

How did you get into fashion: It started through my first boss in retail. He and I would talk sneakers all the time and it sorta naturally developed from there. You'd own fire Dunks and then you needed to get APCs because your jeans couldn't be shit, then you'd need a fire tee and jacket because that couldn't be weak either. Prior to social media, the only way to access this info was through forums or magazines. I'd spend my free time in my teens on the Superfuture and Hypebeast forums trying to consume everything. My first designer purchase was a patchwork CDG shirt when I was 17. I've been obsessed with Comme and Junya ever since.

How would you describe your personal style: Retired mob boss in Tokyo.

Current favorite piece(s) in your closet: Junya cable knit varsity, Junya poetry Levi's, CDG Homme Plus Trousers

How long have you been using Grailed: Since day one.

Most memorable Grailed come up: Honestly, the 2 pieces of Margiela I've bought on there. I'd been hunting for this particular knit at a good price for 8 years.

Favorite fashion designers: Rei Kawakubo, Junya Watanabe, Daiki Suzuki, Margiela.

Ultimate grail: A stable, committed relationship. I've got enough clothes.
