J.W. Anderson and Converse Are Back with New "Toys"

Following 2017’s highly coveted “GLITTER_GUTTER” capsule, JW Anderson and Converse have teamed up yet again.
The latest collaboration from the two brands, titled “Toy”, features four Chuck Taylor All Star 70 high and low silhouettes. This time around the brands have opted for a different type of eye catching material for their sneakers, trading in the glitter for gradient patent leather colorways. The glossy upper contrasts with the oversized fuzzy laces and translucent midsoles in reference to the stucco of San Francisco.
Each silhouette comes in two gradient colorways: the low top comes in “Heron/Coral Pink/Blazing Yellow” and “Pink Mist/Barley Volt/Antiqua Sand” while the high-top is available in “Kumquat/Cherry Red/Red Blue Radiance” and “Mountain View/Jolly/Heron.”
The JW Anderson x Converse Chuck 70 “Toy” collection is set to launch with a four-day pop-up in London, running from July 19 until July 22. The low-tops will retail for $140 USD and the high-tops for $150 USD. Release is set for July 19 at 10 a.m. local time. Be sure to check Grailed’s Hype marketplace shortly after the sneakers release.
