The Nike Air Fear of God collection drop is easily one of the most anticipated of the year. With pairs of the performance sneaker (the Nike Air Fear of God 1) making its way onto the feet of basketball players and celebrities alike, it’s not hard to see how the collection’s other sneaker got lost in the shuffle.

Named the “Shoot Around”, the inspiration for the sneaker is all in the name. NBA players often warm up in one shoe and change into another just before tip off. The logic behind why players do this is simple: Why flex on us once when they could flex on us twice? The “Shoot Around” shares many of the same features as the Nike Air Fear of God 1, just with a simpler lacing system, classic midfoot Swoosh placement and heel zipper.

The Nike Air Fear of God “Shoot Around” drops alongside the rest of the collection on December 15. Be sure to check Grailed shortly after the drop as pairs make their way to the Hype marketplace.
