Nike’s annual Air Max Day kicks off on March 26th with the 30th anniversary of the original Air Max 1, which in 1987 introduced the world to visible Nike Air cushioning and an iconic silhouette that remains popular to this day. To celebrate, Nike is releasing a series of 8 retros, remixes and innovations to the Air Max line throughout the month of March, with highlights including the reissue of the Nike Air Max 1 atmos Elephant (which won last year’s Air Max Day 2016 Vote Back campaign), and the introduction of the Nike Air VaporMax on March 26th, along with a few surprises yet to be announced.
