The 10 Rarest Sneakers On Grailed: Week of November 3, 2019

Last week we featured some sneakers which tended to veer away from the preconceived guidelines of sneaker design. This week is somewhat similar, with an added emphasis on bold palettes and what some might even deem “questionable” design decisions, all of which ultimately paid off in a major way.
Fortune favors the bold and in no arena does that adage ring more true than in the world of sneakers. Everything from the deconstructed Nikes by Virgil Abloh, to some of the brash SB Dunk designs of yesteryear, capitalize on this approach. It pays off in a major way to take big chances when you finally get your opportunity to collaborate on or design a sneaker.
This week features every far-fetched design idea imaginable. For example: There are three separate Jordan Is featured on this week’s list and none of them are traditional by any means. One comes in a completely mismatched colorway, one is enveloped in satin, chenille and corduroy, and one comes already scuffed. The boldest Supreme and Nike collaboration of all time flies under the radar this week when compared to some of these non-traditional designs. It just goes to show that sometimes we all need to step outside our sneaker comfort zone.
Never forget: No online retailer has the same breadth and depth of selection as Grailed. From exclusive Jordan collabs to animal print Air Maxes (and everything in between), in no particular order, these are our picks for the Rarest Sneakers on Grailed This Week.
