One of the great things about sneakers is that brands and designers pull inspiration from all walks of life. Over the past week we’ve seen everything from baroque design prints, to a series of animal textures, to superhero-inspired colorways. And perhaps no brand better embodied that “nothing-is-off-limits” modus operandi than Nike SB in the early 2000s.

Currently in the midst of a renaissance of sorts on the resale market, Nike’s skateboarder-centric brand debuted in the early 2000s and was not only a pillar of modern-day sneaker culture, but it also proved to be a big reason why sneaker reselling became the huge market it is today. Their sneakers–whose inspirations ranged anywhere from Tiffany & Co. jewelry boxes, to Heineken beer, to Homer Simpson, to your run of the mill NYC pigeons–not only sold out around the world, but caused release day chaos in the process.

Many of those aforementioned SBs have popped up on this list in the past and that’s where we pick up this week, with some underrated SB heat.

Never forget: No online retailer has the same breadth and depth of selection as Grailed. From tasty crawfish-inspired Dunks to solid gold Air Forces (and everything in between), in no particular order, these are our picks for the Rarest Sneakers on Grailed This Week.
