This listing features the very first retro version of the classic “Bred” Jordan XIII colorway from 2004. Originally released in 1998, Jordan wore these throughout the playoffs, including his grueling seven-game Eastern Conference Finals series against the Indiana Pacers. He wore the XIII all the way through Game 2 of the NBA Finals against the Utah Jazz, before debuting the brand new Jordan XIV for Game 3. After switching back and forth between the models over the next two games, he would revert back to the XIV long enough for them to be on his feet for his iconic “Last Shot,” the game-winning jumper in Utah during the waning moments of Game 6, which ultimately secured the Bulls’ sixth championship. If Jordan had opted for the XIII for just a few more games, there’s a good chance these would have become the “Last Shot” XIIIs.

The color Bordeaux, a rich burgundy hue, holds a special place in Jordan history, as it is the name of one of the most popular Jordan VII colorways. In 2017, Public School and Jordan Brand were collaborating on a City Pack of tonal Jordan XIIs. For the “Paris” edition, it made a lot of sense to bring back that aforementioned Bordeaux, originally found on the VII. Originally named after the color of wine from the Bordeaux region of France, this colorway was not only a fitting representation of Paris, but it served as a subtle nod to Jordan Brand’s history as well.

The Summer of 2001 was unofficially the season of low-top Jordan XIs. Releasing in nearly every color, from red, to Carolina blue, to this “Pink Snakeskin” iteration, XI lows were in every store around the country with a flavor for every man and woman alike. This popular women’s colorway features a bright pink snakeskin pattern around the upper, sitting just atop the midsole. While the XI has seen its fair share of snakeskin-inspired colorways, this remains the only time this specific “Pink Snakeskin” pair has seen the light of day. Jordan Brand rolled out an updated “Pink Snakeskin” retro in 2019, but there were a few noticeable changes from the original, including a brighter Snakeskin pattern and pink sockliner. Atmos’ Nike collaborations over the years have mostly featured different types of animal prints, all starting with its legendary “Safari” Air Max 1 design in 2002. For this “Safari Pack” collaboration between Atmos and Nike/Jordan Brand, the essence of Atmos’ most famous shoes is prominent. Inside the pack is a Safari-inspired Jordan III and the famous “Elephant” Atmos Air Max 1, which originally debuted in 2006. The Jordan III sports a “Safari” print trim along a black nubuck and leather upper. The Air Max 1 sticks to its original design (plus a Jumpman logo), and incorporates the famous elephant print, which debuted on the Jordan III. Both shoes pay homage to the other in a really complementary way.

While these are commonly referred to as the “Maple Leaf” Dunks, due to the leafy logo stitched on the side of the heel, they are also sometimes referred to as the “Central Park” Dunks, with the leaf logo and the graphic on the insole reportedly paying homage to the Central Park Boathouse and the symbol for the New York City Parks Department. Decked in a Dove Grey suede upper, with light blue leather overlays, Gorge Green accents and a black Swoosh, this particular colorway is super clean.

This Dunk released as part of Nike SB’s Fallen Heroes Pack, and oh, how the mighty have fallen. If you’re too young to remember, Milli Vanilli was a pop duo who reached number one on the charts and scored a Grammy win before a lip-syncing scandal exposed them and destroyed their careers. While they were basically excommunicated from the music industry, they live on in this SB Dunk from 2007. The red upper is constructed of suede and patent leather, and features black along the toe box, midsole and heel. The only real standout design tweak is the treble clef stitched on the tongue, in place of the traditional Nike SB branding.

Originally released alongside both a green and blue pair, these “Red Hemp” Dunks dropped in 2004 and remain some of the more sought after pieces from the SB Golden Age. Sporting 100 percent woven hemp throughout the upper, this particular pair features burgundy accents throughout, including along the sockliner, laces and the Swoosh. The gum sole finishes it off nicely.

This collaboration between Jersey-based retailer Packer Shoes and Allen Iverson’s Reebok Question is a nod to The Answer’s legendary “Practice” press conference from 2002. Dressed in a Sixers-approved red, white and blue colorway, the “Practice” Question features an all-over red upper, the faintest blue accents within the Reebok branding and white laces. It’s finished off with a gum sole. It would have been great to see AI break ankles in these.

As a part of its excellent 2019 collaboration with New Balance, New York-based Aime Leon Dore dropped two clean New Balance silhouettes for its “Life In The Balance” capsule. Featured in this listing is Aime Leon Dore’s successful take on the 990v5 model, which is constructed of blue cordura nylon along the upper and is accented by lush Forest Green overlays throughout. Subtle drops of Aime Leon Dore branding can be found on the heel, with an “ALD” design, and a tag along the side. Aime Leon Dore and New Balance have been hitting on every collaboration these past few years and we can’t wait to see what they cook up next.

Todd Snyder’s take on New Balance’s 997 silhouette released in 2019, commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising. What began as a raid of the Stonewall Inn in New York City, became a critical turning point in the fight for LGBTQ rights in the United States. This “Love” 997 model commemorating the events from 1969 features a bright color palette of pastel greens, blues and pinks, as well as multi-colored rainbow branding on the heel and tongue. The summer-friendly colorway released in limited quantities and proved to be another successful New Balance collaboration for Todd Snyder.
