Sneaker Stories: Week of September 27, 2020

Last week, Jordan Brand unveiled its Holiday 2020 lineup of releases. Traditionally, Jordan Brand stacks the end of the year with exciting drops and popular silhouettes and this year was no different. Noticeably absent from this year's lineup, however, was the season’s traditional holiday best-seller: the Jordan XI.
For the last decade, most of Jordan’s biggest releases during the holiday season were some retro version of a Jordan XI. There are photos of a “25th Anniversary” XI circulating (with a rumored December drop), but nothing concrete was announced on that front last week from the company.
Here are some of the highlights from the confirmed Holiday lineup: a Travis Scott-lite “Mocha” I, the Midnight Navy “CO.JP” Jordan I, a Lakers-infused “Court Purple” III and the “What The” V. The pièce de résistance, however, is the long-awaited return of the OG [“Fire Red” Jordan IV](https://www.grailed.com/drycleanonly/jordan-iv-history (which now goes by “Tech Red”).
Which Jordan are you most looking forward to copping this holiday season? Let us know in the comments. We keep it in the Jordan Brand family as we kick off this week’s list with a few classics from recent years.
No other retailer has the same breadth and depth of selection as Grailed. From “Rayguns” to “Shaq Attaqs” (and everything in between)–in no particular order, these are our picks for Grailed Sneaker Stories of the Week.
