Why You Should Invest In Last Week's Supreme "Alphabet" Release

Nothing was suspected when Supreme previewed its “Alphabet” collection in the Spring/Summer 2018 lookbook. However, the legal rights to the art on the pieces reworked by Supreme has caused quite a stir as of late.
According to Supreme watchdog @DropsByJay, Supreme has pulled the collection from their stores, website and even the preview lookbook due to an alleged cease and desist. Many are speculating that the estate of 20th century Art Deco artist and designer Erté are behind the cease and desist, as his art bares a striking resemblance to the art featured on the pieces.
While the buttonup shirt, silk pants and vase dropped last Thursday, the release of the shorts and beach towel have been canceled due to the alleged legal issue. This of course means that the value of the “Alphabet” pieces are likely to rise astronomically due to their now-forbidden nature. If you were lucky enough to cop for retail last week, you may want to consider posting your piece on Grailed’s Hype marketplace. Just a thought.
