For the first time since Spring/Summer 2017, Supreme and Comme des Garçons SHIRT have teamed up for a collection.

Between last year’s crumbled box logo graphics to the beloved Spring/Summer 2013 polka dot pieces, Comme des Garçons collaborations remain as some of the most highly coveted Supreme collaborations.

This season, the main graphic features both brands’ logos split in half. This treatment—like the crumpled brand logo motif from last year—is reminiscent of an earlier Comme des Garçons SHIRT design. While it’s unclear when exactly Comme des Garçons SHIRT started using this particular “split” treatment, a cursory search shows the style used as far back as a Fall 1988 ad campaign; as seen here on Grailed, Comme des Garçons would continue to use this aesthetic across various garments well into the late-’90s and early-’00s.

Other items feature an all-over graffiti print courtesy of artist Earsnot IRAK. Featuring the words “Justice For All”, the artwork is reminiscent of any subway train in New York City pre-Giuliani. In total, the collection includes a Schott Perfecto leather jacket, a chore coat, a wool overcoat, a zip-up shirt, a patchwork button up shirt, a crewneck sweater, box logo T-shirt, box logo hoodie and skate and painter pants.

Another part of this collection is a black and white Air Force 1 Low featuring the swoosh split like the aforementioned graphics. According to Supreme, the sneaker will see a November release.

The Supreme x Comme des Garçons SHIRT Fall/Winter 2018 collection drops this Thursday, September 13, at Supreme’s US, European and online stores. It will release on September 15 in Japan. Be sure to check Grailed shortly after 11 am as the collection makes its way to the Hype marketplace, and stay tuned to Dry Clean Only for more news on the upcoming Air Force 1s.
