After being part of the original preview for the Spring/Summer 2018 collection, Supreme has announced its Hellraiser collection will be released this week.

Hitting theaters back in 1987, the original film Hellraiser is based on a short novel by writer/director Clive Barker that revolves around a mysterious puzzle box that, when solved, releases creatures known as Cenobites, who kill the puzzle solver. The film is credited for shifting the focus of horror films from slashers and spearheading the subgenre known as ‘postmodern body horror’, known for its use of body mutilation and special effects. The film was released to mixed reviews but went on to be revered as a classic, resulting in an astonishing nine sequels. Most notably, the film spawned the iconic character Pinhead, the leader of the Cenobites.

Inspired by images from Hellraiser, Supreme’s collaboration with the cult horror flick center around the franchise’s most recognizable piece: Pinhead himself. The pieces include a trench coat, football jerseys, BDU shirts, skate pants, two hoodies, a knit sweater, two tees, mesh shorts, a beanie, a keychain and skate deck.

The collection will be available online and in Supreme’s NYC, LA, London and Paris stores on April 26 and in Supreme’s Japan locations on April 28.
