Supreme and The North Face Unveil Spring/Summer 2018 Collaboration

It’s rare that a seasonal collaboration can maintain hype year after year. Then again, it’s also rare that two brands as massive as Supreme and The North Face have such a regular, ongoing partnership.
In every season since 2007, Supreme and The North Face team up to bring us a selection of classic North Face garments served up in a colorway that only Supreme could secure. This time around the theme is metallic; the crop is yielding gold, silver and (what I assume will be the most sought-after colorway) peach parkas, hoodies, T-shirts, hats and assorted bags. More specifically, shoppers will find a Mountain Parka, a hoodie and matching T-shirt with a “metallic” collaboration logo, a Borealis backpack, a Roo II Lumbar Pack and a shoulder bag. In addition to these pieces, Supreme has brought back the discontinued Mountain Bib pants (effectively waterproof overalls) out of The North Face’s archives.
While the collection is clearly focused on flexing (let’s be honest, you have to have a lot of self-confidence to pull off a full ‘fit in metallic peach) that doesn’t mean the partnership is skimping on the functionality. The Mountain Parka and Mountain Bib pants are fully seam-sealed and waterproof; the bags are all constructed with 420D water-resistant nylon ripstop.
Take a peek at the collaboration lookbook and the full product run above to see what’s hitting stores this week. The collection will be available in Supreme’s US, European and online stores on April 5 and in Japan on April 7.
Be sure to check Grailed shortly after 11 am to get your hands on all the highlights.
