The North Face and Supreme Reunite to Revive RTG Series

While the last few collaborations from these brands have been graphic heavy, Supreme and The North Face have teamed up this season to resurrect the RTG series for a more tactical capsule collection.
The now discontinued RTG collection was at one point The North Face’s line for more extreme outdoor activities than it’s mainline counterparts. While that hole has now been filled with The North Face Summit Series, Supreme did what it does best and dug in the archives to bring us a taste of what was. The focal point of this collection is the RTG jacket and vest. Sold as one (but detachable) unit, the RTG jacket is reminiscent of the classic Mountain Jacket, with Supreme branding on the sleeve and visor cap, while the vests backpack-like reverse side has drawn comparisons to Junya Watanabe’s Tortoise Jacket collaboration with The North Face. Both the jacket and vest feature waterproof Gore-Tex nylon.
The collection also includes an RTG fleece jacket, turtleneck, tee, backpack, utility pouch, balaclava, and fleece glove, all available in black, red, orange and green.
The Supreme x The North Face collection will be available this Thursday, March 12, at Supreme’s US, European and online stores. It will be released on March 14 in Japan. Be sure to check Grailed shortly after 11 AM as items make their way to the Hype marketplace.
