While up north, we were lucky enough to link up with some of our users and get their thoughts on men's fashion, their city and using Grailed. Consider it a mini survey of sorts on Toronto's burgeoning scene. Hopefully, the next time you're in the 6 you'll have no questions about where to shop or eat since it's all here.

Occupation: Bartender, however I am aiming to tap into the fashion industry as I have just graduated with a diploma in Fashion Management.

Neighborhood: Humber Bay Park in Etobicoke is where I am based, but downtown is where I am always found.

How did you get into fashion: Pharrell and Japanese streetwear in the early 2000s is what made me feel an importance that fashion played in my identity.

How would you describe your personal style: Eclectic and aggressive. My common style is has elements of rock & roll with military silhouettes. If I had to describe the mood, think Michael Jackson or Mick Jagger with a hip-hop attitude. However, traces of avant-garde have always been an alter ego go-to for me as it is aesthetic heavy.

Current favorite piece(s) in your closet: Haider Ackermann Perth Bomber from FW15.

How long have you been using Grailed: Over 1 year.

Most memorable Grailed come up: Every Y-3 Qasa Low I have bought on Grailed.

Favorite fashion designers: Christophe Decarnin, Hedi Slimane, Haider Ackermann, Boris Bidjan Saberi, Tatsuro Horikawa.

Ultimate grail: FW09 Rick Owens Reversed Calf Skin Dunks.

Occupation: Industrial/Commercial Electrician

Neighborhood: Downtown born and raised.

Favorite shop in Toronto: For the staff, fashionably yours. For the clothing, Serpentine.

Favorite restaurant in Toronto: Tie between Momofuku and El Furniture Warehouse.

How did you get into fashion: My best friend's oldest and youngest brothers both recently graduated from Parsons and are up-and-coming fashion designers. They put me on to Rick, BB, Julius, CCP, and the whole avant garde style about 4 years ago and I just ran with it from there.

How would you describe your personal style: It's hard to put into words, but to be brief I guess avant garde.

Current favorite piece(s) in your closet: Every piece I own lol. To name a few: CCP titanium u sole drips, CCP titanium tornados, Rick Owens blistered mohawk dunks, BBS J1(bock leather) and J4 (alumiunum /calf leather), BBS boiled wool peacoat, BBS vestbag3, Bbs parka1...the list could go on and on.

How long have you been using Grailed: Pretty sure I've been using Grailed since its inception. I remember when filtering a search for Rick Owens would turn up about 5-10 pieces, not 200 pages. Before that I lurked on Sufu and SZ.

Most memorable Grailed come up: There's been so many, but probably my BBS J4 with a layer of aluminum sandwiched between 2 layers of calf leather. Such an amazing jacket.

Favorite fashion designers: A tie between Boris Bidjan Saberi and Carol Christian Poell. Rick Owens takes 3rd. Honorable mentions to Julius and Thamanyah.

Ultimate grail: No question a Carol Christian Poell titanium prosthetic elbow and knuckle leather jacket, in bison or horse.

How did you get into fashion: After realizing how picky I was with clothes ever since I was little.

How would you describe your personal style: Grunge, dark, youth-street, minimal. I'm still experimenting with how versatile my appearance can look with menswear brands.

How long have you been using Grailed: I'm not too sure, a year and a half now.

Most memorable Grailed come up: Y-3 Qasa High in size 7, but someone else copped! I slept on 'em, fam.

Favorite fashion designers: Raf Simons, Jun Takahashi, and Hedi Slimane.

Ultimate grail: Any Raf archive piece.

How did you get into fashion: Through music. Dark aesthetics in black metal and goth music definitely brought me into the world of fashion.

Favorite restaurant in Toronto: Huh Ga Ne, is my go-to 24 hr Korean spot. You'll probably see me there multiple times a week.

How did you get into fashion: I wasn't always into fashion, but I have to give it to my brother, who came back from a trip in Vietnam wearing what I thought at first I thought were Gundam shoes. They ended up being Rick Owens x Adidas runners and since then, I've found my eyes for style.

How would you describe your personal style: I've always dreamed of being in a cartoon, how every episode had a story to be told, how each character can be genuine. My personal style represents stories in my life and the people who I call my family and friends.

How long have you been using Grailed: I've been using Grailed for about two years now, and I don't plan on stopping.

Favorite fashion designer(s): At the moment, Boris Bidjan Saberi, his avant-garde nature and second skin design complement who I am well, while portraying a story in the garments we wear.

How did you get into fashion: I've always been concerned about what looked "cool" or "good" since I was young. I started collecting sneakers in 2008. Skateboard culture had an influence on sneaker choices, such as Nike SB. I collected the collaboration Nike SB's from GOODFOOT, which was a boutique for sneakers in the United Front community. Eventually, as I got older, I wanted to build outfits that fit my lifestyle. I explored different stores and always found myself drawn to boutiques because I found that the pieces were always interesting and of high quality. Nomad was a part of United Front and was definitely a boutique that I liked. The boutique influenced me to research their in-house designers and through that I found different forums that all spoke about similar brands and designers. Later on, I wanted to play different characters and have different looks. Anime and The Matrix influenced me to dress dark so I did some research on designers in Japan. Without a doubt I became obsessed with different fits, textures, fabrics, silhouettes, etc. Ever since, I continue to be drawn to style and innovating things in fashion.
