After months of anticipation, celebrity on-foot sightings and surprise releases, the Air Jordan 1 High Travis Scott will finally release globally.
Travis Scott debuted the shoes on Instagram for the first time back in November when his Astroworld tour began. The latest collaboration on the 34 year old classic sees a few notable detail changes including a reversed black leather swoosh on the lateral side of both sneakers, a hidden pouch and Cactus Jack Records branding on the tongue and heel. The sneakers upper is comprised of a dark mocha suede and white leather while the midsole is a contrasting sail color.
Alongside the shoes, Travis Scott and Jordan Brand will also release their debut apparel collection. The collection includes a fleece hoodie, fleece shorts, a tracksuit and various tees. The collection utilizes the same color palette as the sneaker and boasts both Cactus Jack Records and Jordan Brand logos and branding.
The sneaker previously released via Nike’s SNKRS app in what was a surprise drop on April 30, Travis Scott’s birthday. After that, they were slated for a May 4 release when they were suddenly pushed back a week.
The Air Jordan 1 High Travis Scott will release via SNKRS and other retailers Saturday, May 11. Be sure to check Grailed shortly after the drop as the sneakers and apparel makes their way to the Hype marketplace.
