Why the Palace x adidas Originals Wimbledon Collab Is Huge for Streetwear
"It goes without saying, then, that London skate upstart Palace is about as far away from Wimbledon culture as one could possibly imagine. Which makes the fact that the brand, in one of the most intriguing collaborations of the year, has joined forces with German sports powerhouse adidas once more, this time for a capsule which pays tribute to the revered tournament. Modeled by men’s world No3 Alexander Zverev and women’s No3 Garbine Muguruza, the collection comprises a whole gamut of tennis product, from headbands and umbrellas to court-ready jacquard polos and bucket caps."

The Best Street Style at New York Fashion Week: Men’s
"After the Spring-Summer 2019 Paris shows, the fashion world's top editors, bold-face names, stylists, professional athletes, and hangers on had a moment to rest and reset their closets for the next stop en route to next season, New York City. Home to a slew of young-gun, game-changing talents (Willy Chavarria, Bode) and now-establishment labels upholding American menswear's traditions of making clothes guys can actually wear in the wild (Todd Snyder, Ovadia & Sons), the New York Fashion Week: Men's shows present the full spectrum of menswear design today. They also do it at a time when the temperature is pushing triple digits. It's nothing the most sartorially inclined out there can't handle (see: smart layering, the right camp shirt, every loafer known to man)—and these guys prove it."

Amazon is Using its Search Engine & Your Trademark to Sell Inferior Products, Per New Suit
"Amazon is being sued … again. This time, the Seattle-based e-commerce company is being accused of trademark infringement by upscale bedding company The Comphy, which claims in the compliant it filed last week in a federal court in Illinois, that Amazon is running afoul of the law by allegedly providing search results for "inferior third-party sheets" when consumers search on its platform for terms like "comph" and "comphy.”"

The $60 Million Battle Over Hermés Bags
"The auction did not make headlines for breaking records as the Christie’s auction last month in London did, thanks to a particularly rare Diamond-encrusted Himalaya Birkin, which sold for $287,145, making it the most expensive bag ever sold at auction in Europe. The Hong Kong event was noteworthy for a different reason: It was one of the latest offerings from the world-famous auction house’s budding handbags and accessories division, which was launched in 2014 under the direction of Matthew Rubinger."

The Story of Sports Banger, The UK’s Bootleg King
"Jonny Banger, aka Sports Banger, aka the bootlegging king of the UK fashion scene, has finally gone legit with his latest collection with British based tennis brand Slazenger. Named ‘Slazenger Banger’, the collaboration has flown off the shelves of all the Sports Direct stores nationwide that it’s been stocked in since the end of June. The collab is already becoming, like Jonny’s previous sportswear bootlegs, the go-to garment of choice for UK ravers and festival-goers this summer."

How 20-Year-Old Kylie Jenner Built A $900 Million Fortune In Less Than 3 Years
"Just 20 when this story publishes (she'll turn 21 in August) and an extremely young mother (she had baby daughter Stormi in February), Jenner runs one of the hottest makeup companies ever. Kylie Cosmetics launched two years ago with a $29 "lip kit" consisting of a matching set of lipstick and lip liner, and has sold more than $630 million worth of makeup since, including an estimated $330 million in 2017. Even using a conservative multiple, and applying our standard 20% discount, Forbes values her company, which has since added other cosmetics like eye shadow and concealer, at nearly $800 million. Jenner owns 100% of it."
