Two of the hottest brands in fashion—Off-White and Undercover—have come together for a collaborative collection under the (apt, albeit cluttered) name, “UnderOffWhiteCovers”.
While both brands have participated in collaborations at a high rate (even by today’s standards), this is the first time Off-White and Undercover have released a capsule together. This year alone, Undercover has worked with MediCom Toy, the makers of the Be@rbrick, on a limited edition tee, couture house Valentino on an entire collection and of course Nike, on the Daybreak—one of the hottest sneakers of the year.
Off-White has also had its hands full with collaborations with Fragment tees, merch for the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, and the rumored collaborative Nike SB Dunk. The brands announced their collaboration with a video featuring Japanese actors Naoto Takenaka and Eri Fuse in a seemingly random sketch dancing in pieces from the collection.
UnderOffWhiteCovers is a true fusion of both brands signature style. The collection features signature Off-White motifs with graphics Undercover designer Jun Takahashi refers to as “dark matter,” including skeletons and clawed hands. The collection includes T-shirts, hoodies, athletic shorts, denim and a waist bag, which all feature the logos of both labels as well as “UnderOffWhiteCovers” on the pullover hoodies and T-shirts.
Items from the collaboration are still available via Off-White’s webstore but be sure to check Grailed if you’re looking for a piece that has sold out.
