After almost an entire year of teasing fans, the “Static” adidas Yeezy Boost 700 v2 is finally releasing.

The updated, v2 silhouette features the same chunky midsole as the original 700 Wave Runner with a reworked upper. The new upper is slightly more conservative than the eye-popping, neon accented Wave Runner due to its tonal colorway. The suede panels of the original 700 have also been replaced by mesh. The other major change is centered around hidden vertical stripes on the 700; those stripes are now bolder, reflective horizontal stripes, giving this otherwise subtle model more character.

The adidas Yeezy Boost 700 v2 “Static” will release December 29 via adidas and its stockists. Be sure to check Grailed’s Hype marketplace shortly after the drop for your chance to cop the last Yeezys of 2018.
