Seller Description
The year is 2004 and every American is gravely concerned with the upcoming presidential election. The fate of the country will be passed into the hands of one of the two major party candidates: John Kerry or George W. Bush. One unlikely foreign nemesis of the incumbent? Number (N)ine designer Takahiro Miyashita. The label's Autumn/Winter 2004 collection was centered around a series of "Anti-Bush" slogan T-shirts and garments that were released in both Japan and America. Some were a little too graphic to be released in the States however, such as Miyashita's take on the 1987 Dead Kennedy's album Give Me Convenience or Give Me Death replacing the original album artwork featuring Ronald Regan's head wrapped in barbed wire with George W. Bush for a Japan-only release.
